I've received a lot of requests for more neutral, wearable eye looks with the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Here is an easy take on a neutral eye with a bright lip. I hope you all enjoy!

I have been dying to use my Mac Indigo Pink Lip Glass in a tutorial and I have finally gotten the opportunity. I decided to go for a deep smokey brown-gray eye. I wanted my eyes to be smokey, but wearable, so I kept the eyeliner simple and less harsh. I also wanted the lips to really shine and be the focal point of this look. I hope I achieved my goal! Enjoy!

This is an edgy smokey look inspired by the makeup I have been seeing in a lot of magazines from Fashion Week. I've seen the red lip as a huge trend as well as a love of smokey, smudgy eyes. I decided instead of doing a full on red lip, I would keep the lips more wearable and trendy and go with a smudged out red lip. I hope you all enjoy!

Here is the gold and blue makeup look from the Mac Jeanius Collection Overview video. I opted for a blue and gold look which is coincidentally the same colors as my high school colors. Goooo Panthers!!! :) I wanted to do a blue look without making the eye completely blue. I have always thought pairing golds with blue can look really nice on warmer skin tones. I also opted for a peachy cheek with a warm nude lip to finish off the look. I hope you all enjoy!

We are all busy people. Now, I know all my readers are women - I know I have some men out there who read my blog. So, don't take offense to the title of this post please! I just wanted something catchy to grab your attention since I have been gone for sooooo long! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has been patient with me this week! This makeup is for those of us who don't want to sacrifice looking put together because we have an early morning flight, an exam, a stressful day ahead of us or we just hit snooze one too many times on the alarm clock this morning! I tried to use minimal products while maintaining a sleek, put together, easy go-to look. I wanted you guys to feel put together even when you don't have a ton of time to spend applying everything perfectly! I hope you find this helpful! Enjoy!

This is a super simple classic smokey eye using TheBalm Shady Lady Volume 3. This is one of my go-to favorite looks and super easy to achieve. If you struggle with how to get a pretty yet simple smokey eye then this is the tutorial for you! I used three colors on the yes and did minimal blending and work. I hope you all enjoy!

The first of TheBalm Shady Lady Volume 3 looks had to be anything but traditional. I initially filmed the entire Overview and first tutorial with a classic smokey eye for a more everyday approach to this palette. But upon reviewing the overview video I decided it would be a lot more exciting and fun if my makeup was out there and fun for the first tutorial. I decided to scratch the first overview video and re-film the overview with a bright and bold makeup look. I decided to use teal and purple, because I think teal and purple compliment each other well. I decided to whip out my brand new Mac Viva Glam Gaga 2 for a "make it work" moment. I think the look is actually really pretty and goes nicely with the bright eyes. I hope you all enjoy!

The point of this look was to use palettes already in my collection or yours with the Mac Wonder Woman Valiant Palette to create a really nice pretty look. I used the Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette and the Laura Mercier Silk Road Palette in combination with the Mac Valiant Palette to create this look. Feel free to substitute your own colors in place of the colors I used. I hope this is helpful!
Enjoy!

Mac's Wonder Woman Collection had me really inspired to do a classic Wonder Woman makeup and hair tutorial. Now, I am not a hair expert. In fact, I know very little about hair. However, I have been promising my subscribers I would do a hair tutorial, so I decided what better time than now?
This is a two part tutorial - the first part has to do with "wind blown voluminous" hair. I was very inspired by the comic book art and fan art I found online of the classic Wonder Woman. The second part of this tutorial is makeup. I decided to ditch Mac's version of Wonder Woman (blue eyeshadow and nude lips) and go for the classic Wonder Woman we all know - Red Lips, Neutral Eyes, Structured Jawline and Face Contours, and Dark Eyebrows. I hope you all enjoy!
My Favorite Hair Style - Wind Blown Curls with lots of Volume (Comic Book)
Makeup Inspiration - Red Lip, Neutral Eye (Comic Book)
Makeup Inspiration (Fan Art) - the contoured cheek bones and nude eye with red lip.
Hair and Makeup Inspiration - more structured curl with heavy eyeliner and outer lashes and red lip. It appears she is wearing blue eyeshadow here. (Comic Book)
Hair and Makeup Inspiration (Fan Art) - Neutral Eyes with Nude Lip (I opted for the red lip) with Wind Blown Volume
