Two Faced's The Bronzed and the Beautiful...French Riviera Edition

Left to Right:  Primer, Chocolate Soleil, Powdered Sun, Snow Bunny, Sun Bunny

Two Faced's The Bronzed and the Beautiful, French Riviera Edition is pretty good!!!  I like the fact that the kit provides a couple of different shades of bronzers to allow for slightly different looks. Snow Bunny is much more brown than the other tones and reminds me a lot of Benefit's Hoola bronzer (a cool toned bronzer) and other bronzers have more of a red tone. I really like this kit because it contains various different bronzers that can give slightly different effects, depending upon what you are looking for.

I also like the fact that it has a highlighter included.  I think this just helps enhance the bronzer effect.

This bronzer kit complements warm and cool tones nicely. I would even suggest applying the cooler toned bronzer to your skin if you have warm skin when you're trying to pull out cool tones in your skin tone. I'm not suggesting if you are a warm tone, you move to the complete cool tones and vice versa, but you can mix the tones a bit allowing yourself to cross the line a bit :)

Ok, I have used this product for the past week and so now I feel I can honestly assess it.

Script Precision Liquid Liner

These liners are being hailed by Hourglass as "a revolutionary new eyeliner boasting one of the smallest felt tips on the market! The micro-fine, razor-point applicator measure just .5mm and allows for unprecedented precision and exceptional control - if you love Calligraphy, you will love this tool"

I like the tips by Hourglass Artistic Director Gina Brooke below:
"Prepare your lids with concealer to cover any discoloration and apply your eye shadow as usual.  If you're feeling unsure about applying liquid liner, try sketching a guide line with an eye pencil or matte shadow first.  Make the guide as close to the lash line as possible.  Tilt your head backwards and gently pull the eyelid taut with your free hand.  With liner in hand, start in the middle of the eye and work outward along teh top lash line using a series of short, overlapping strokes, gradually applying pressure for a thicker line as you work your way to the corner.

Lastly, line the inner upper corner of eye and the bottom if you seek a more intense look.  If you make a mistake, dab a Q-tip into some eye makeup remover and gently erase the spots.

Aside from using it as a liner, Script can be used to create the illusion of larger eyes by filling in between bottom lashes.  More adventurous wearers can extend the line out for a retro cat eye.  I even use it to draw lashes at teh bottom of the lower lash line and beauty mark."

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Natural Yet Bright Teal Eyes and Soft Cheeks and Lips

I really wanted to do a bright fun eye with simple makeup. I decided to go with teal eyeshadow that was bright, but not overpowering. I decided since I was wearing black that day that teal could be my accent color instead of dawning turquoise jewelry or something like that. I thought it turned out pretty nice. I hope you all enjoy!

Nail of the Day - Zoya Rica

If you are planning on sporting the bright coral trend that is invading this summer, then you need to try Zoya's Rica, a bright coral with gold glitter shot through it. I happened to be wearing coral the day I dawned this color and I received so many compliments. This color looks orangey-peachy in the photos, but it's much moral coral than orange or peach and the gold glitter just makes it glow! Zoya Rica is from Zoya's Sunshine Collection and is just a fun bright color for summer.

For application, I applied Seche Base as a base coat, two coats of Zoya Rica and Seche Vite as a topcoat. I wanted to apologize for my lack of nail polish posts lately, I have been in finals the past two weeks and I am a chronic nail picker/biter/observer when I'm stressed! (A very bad habit that takes over me during finals!) Anyway, I will get back to posting when my nails are in better shape or when I have the time to paint them. I apologize for my lack of nail posts, but don't worry I didn't stop loving nail polish, I just am experiencing the stress of my last set of law school finals ever! Enjoy!

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess for Summer 2011 Overview with Swatches

Hello Estee Lauder! This is the featured product for this week! Ahhh! I am so excited! This post will serve as the overview with swatches of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Collection for Summer 2011. I absolutely love this collection!!! I think so many of the colors are gorgeous for summer and they would look good on people of all different skin tones and types. I especially love the eyeshadow palette which I think is a really good deal at $42 for six highly pigmented eyeshadows!

This collection is really big, so if you want details on other items in the collection or pricing, please visit the Preview page on this collection. I wanted to keep this post all about the product swatches and comparisons. I will be featuring this collection as the product of the week this week and holding off on the Mac Six Warm Smokey Eye Palette for the moment. I am worried the Estee Lauder Bronze Collection is going to sell out, so I decided to move this collection up ahead of the Mac Packed To Go collections.

I hope you all enjoy!
