I purchased this product because I had heard some good things about it. I must say, I was very disappointed! The product is advertised to be the makeup wonder that you can apply to eyeshadows, mascara, lipstick and liners to prevent your make up from smudging! Its definitely left me wondering.
My Experience:
I decided to try it on everywhere it claimed to work, so I put on my make up and begin applying away. The product is a clear liquid that comes with four different sample sized brushes for the various areas of application. I applied it to my eye lids, lips and eyebrows. About the only place that I found it worked was my eyebrows. I will say, it did keep my eyebrows looking nice all day. However, I did find I had some clumpy peeling of the product during an application on my eyebrows. It gets worse....I applied it to my eyeshadow lids and creases. First, it caused my eyelids to stick to the hoods of my eye and I don't have major hoods. I literally had to pull the skin apart several times throughout the day. Needless to say, it didn't feel real good and by the end of the day, my eye lids/hoods were sore. I applied it to my lipstick, only to have my lipstick ball up into crumbles on my lips - very attractive, I'm sure!
This product won 2009 Elle Magazine Genius Award for Makeup and there are many out there that rant and rave about this product, so maybe for some it works well, but for me, I'll be taking it back!!!
