The point of this look was to use palettes already in my collection or yours with the Mac Wonder Woman Valiant Palette to create a really nice pretty look. I used the Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette and the Laura Mercier Silk Road Palette in combination with the Mac Valiant Palette to create this look. Feel free to substitute your own colors in place of the colors I used. I hope this is helpful!
Enjoy!

Mac's Wonder Woman Collection had me really inspired to do a classic Wonder Woman makeup and hair tutorial. Now, I am not a hair expert. In fact, I know very little about hair. However, I have been promising my subscribers I would do a hair tutorial, so I decided what better time than now?
This is a two part tutorial - the first part has to do with "wind blown voluminous" hair. I was very inspired by the comic book art and fan art I found online of the classic Wonder Woman. The second part of this tutorial is makeup. I decided to ditch Mac's version of Wonder Woman (blue eyeshadow and nude lips) and go for the classic Wonder Woman we all know - Red Lips, Neutral Eyes, Structured Jawline and Face Contours, and Dark Eyebrows. I hope you all enjoy!
My Favorite Hair Style - Wind Blown Curls with lots of Volume (Comic Book)
Makeup Inspiration - Red Lip, Neutral Eye (Comic Book)
Makeup Inspiration (Fan Art) - the contoured cheek bones and nude eye with red lip.
Hair and Makeup Inspiration - more structured curl with heavy eyeliner and outer lashes and red lip. It appears she is wearing blue eyeshadow here. (Comic Book)
Hair and Makeup Inspiration (Fan Art) - Neutral Eyes with Nude Lip (I opted for the red lip) with Wind Blown Volume

Benefit's Erase Paste is a brightening camouflage for eyes and face. I purchased it in No. 2 Medium for my skin tone and here are my thoughts.
The product is creamy and easy to blend. Product is designed to be a concealer that also brights and camaflouges. It includes a spatula for getting the proudct out of the pot.
The Medium shade is quite a salmon color, which excited me because I thought it would really cover dark circles well. However, it's not all it's hyped up to be. While it is very creamy and goes on smoothly when applying, over the course of the day, it settles in creases. A little product goes a long way but I have found that over the course of the day, you need to re-apply and re-smooth the product because it does settle in fine lines and requires a second application. Not a real fan! I want to reduce the focus on my dark circles not draw attention to them by having my make up cake up.
So, you want to wear Mac's Spitfire but you don't know how to wear it and not look overdone? Well, the very virtue of Mac's Spitfire is that your lips will get noticed. However, this shouldn't deter anyone from wearing it. Why? Because it's an amazing color! I paired it here with a soft shimmery eye with heavy dark eyeliner. I purposely wanted my eyes to stand out, but I didn't want them to fight with my lips. Nobody wants a battle of color on their face! I decided to go with a neutral eye, dark defined eyes, and bright lips.
The most important part of this look that often gets overlooked when doing makeup is SKIN. Since my eye makeup was pretty minimal and my lips were so noticeable, I decided to really play up my skin by adding Mac's Strobe Cream to my foundation. What this does is add a nice sheen to your foundation - which gives the appearance of extremely healthy, glowing skin without over added sparkle of a highlight. Just like 1950's pin up girls sported matte, seemingly flawless skin, anyone who is going to strut a bold lip wants to make sure she plays up her glowing complexion to really sell the lips and eyes. I find this look very wearable. Not necessarily work appropriate, but I would sport it during the day. What are your thoughts?

Ok, so the packages I was suppose to get in on Thursday never came in so the product of the week for this week has been delayed thanks to Mother Nature and a Blizzard! Ahhhh! As a result, this week is going to be a free for all! I am going to be doing some requested looks for you all, as well as, some looks that just make me feel nice and pretty until my packages arrive!
So the first look is this beachy-summer/spring look inspired by the warmth in my body that is begging to get out! (I cannot wait for summer!) I hope you all enjoy!

This is an intense gold and purple eye look with a really nice ruby lip. I was really inspired by the cat eye look lately and I wanted to capitalize on that inspiration. I wanted this look to be really gold, but also include some intense deepness. I also wanted to compliment the bold eye with a more bold wearable lip. I decided on Laura Mercier's Ruby Glaze lip plumper. Since I didn't get a chance to use it with the Laura Mercier Silk Road Palette, I decided to use it in this tutorial. Enjoy!

I am usually not a big fan of Valentines Day and it's not because of the traditional reasons. I am not a huge fan because I always over-indulge in Dove's chocolate shaped hearts and Conversation Hearts! They are just so yummy and really only available around this time of year! hahaha. On the plus side, for some Valentines Day is extremely romantic. Every Valentines Day I have ever had has never really lived up to the hype - so sorry, boyfriends, I have to admit...your attempt at romantic fell short when you didn't save me from a sinking ship like Leonard DiCaprio in Titanic. Gosh, movies ruin everything! hahaha.
Anyway, this look was inspired by Valentines Day and the Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette which is sold at Sephora and Ulta and retails for $35.00. I love this palette. It makes my heart swell and makes me wonder what romantic events are in store for me this Valentines Day...will I finally get saved from a sinking ship? I hope not. It's cold where I live and I can only imagine how frigid the water is. Unlike Kate Winslet, I can't promise I won't let go...I'm far from a member of the Polar Bear Club. :-/

So, I have been using this very strange work around because I lost my camera charger. Until the new charger arrives, you may see a lot of photos of me at the same angle. I am sorry for this. I have resorted to recording myself on my HD camera then taking screen captures of the video to provide you with the best quality photos.
This is a face of the day using Laura Mercier's Silk Road Palette and the light purple (Lavender Silk) I was so worried about. I wasn't sure how this look would turn out, so I didn't record a full tutorial. However, if you want to see a full tutorial, please let me know. I hope you all enjoy!

I posted another comparison on the Makeup and Beauty Blog. You can check it out here! It's a comparison of Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash and Benefit Bad Gal Lash. Who will win? Well, check it out!
This is just a simple look for anyone wanting to do a smokey gray eye. I would wear this look out, to work or to school. I think the gray eyeshadow really works well with the brown-red tone of the Mac Kissable Lip Color in Temper Tantra. Enjoy!
