This is the first tutorial from the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Tutorial. I wanted to keep the makeup really simple and easy, but add a touch of fun to the eyes with the teal. If you don't like the teal, then obviously it's not necessary to add it. I really love the Estee Lauder Coral Sun lipstick. It's so pretty and very wearable! I hope you all enjoy!

At first when I sat down to to do this look, I anticipated using Mac's Satin Taupe from the Mac Six Cool Smokey Eye Palette, however I just began playing with the purples. I have a strange relationship with the color purple and as a result, I was drawn to it. I decided to do another purple smokey eye, this one also smokey, but with a warmer lip and cheek. I really like this look. I think it's very sultry and sexy without being over the top. I would say this is more of a nighttime look, however I did this look and then went to take an exam in Criminal Procedure. haha. So, I guess it's also a daytime look as well. I hope you all enjoy!

I really wanted to use pinks and purples in this tutorial using the Mac Packed To Go 6 Smokey Cool Palette. I decided to opt for a bold lip with more muted eyes. At first I wasn't in love with this look because I thought my eyes looked a bit tired. However, I think had I added a bit of A Brown Suit under the eye, the look would have been a little bit more wearable for my warm skin tone. So, my suggestion for warm toned people like me is this: use Mac A Brown Suit under the eye just at the outer corner of the lash line to make the eyes pop a bit more and not look so tired. Mac Tendersmoke is pretty, but mixed with A Brown Suit, I think it would look more wearable. I hope you all enjoy!

This is an easy Face of the Day wearing the Mac Packed To Go Six Cool Smokey Eye Palette. I decided to go with a very natural, soft look with hints of peach and pink. I thought I could make the cool colors on the eyes really work if I warmed up my skin with a natural healthy glow. Here is the result. I hope you all enjoy!

This is one of my favorite tutorials to date. I love purple smokey eyes and I really love how wearable this purple smokey eye turned out. I am beginning to think the Mac 6 Cool Smokey Eye Palette is a must have item! It's so compact and has such great colors that it's quickly becoming one of my favorites! I decided to re-create the Kim Kardashian smokey eye tutorial with more fun colors and less "cat-eye-like" shape. The result is very pretty, in my opinion. I hope you all enjoy!

This is an easy face of the day using golds on the eyes and browns, with a pink lip stain. Since summer is approaching, I have really wanted to do more looks using golds and pinks. I have been really drawn to antique golds in particular, like Mac's Antique Gold Glitter and Bobbi Brown's Antique Gold Metallic Eyeshadow. I decided to use Bobbi Brown's Metallic Cream Eyeshadow in Antique Gold for this look. I wanted the eyes to sparkle, but not be too crazy or out there that this look wasn't wearable. So instead of using a lip gloss or lipstick, I went for a pink lip stain. I think the results look really nice and it's one of my favorite face of the day's that I have done thus far. In my opinion, this look ended up being soft, yet chic and effortless with the metallic antique gold eyes and soft pink lip stain. Enjoy!

For this look I was really inspired by Sephora's The Joys of Fragrance Catalog. There was a model in the advertisement that featured glowing skin, bold blue eyeshadow and pink lips. When I saw the advertisement I thought to myself, "Wow. I want to do that makeup look, but with green eyeshadow!" Thus, I re-created the model's look using lime green eyeshadows. I didn't blend the lime green up as far onto the brow bone as the model in the advertisement because I wanted to make the look more wearable. Here is the result. I have attached a photo of the model as well as Sephora's The Joys of Fragrance Catalog for you to view. Sorry for the blurry photo of the model. You can check out the catalog below for a better photo! Enjoy!
P.S. I really love the new Boyfriend perfume featured in this catalog. It smells amazing! I also recently purchased Lolita Lempicka Si Lolita perfume after smelling my way through this catalog! It is so invigorating! Yay for good marketing from Sephora! :)
Inspiration Photo with Blue Eyeshadow instead of Green
I was really in a copper eyeshadow type of mood this past weekend so I decided to go for a copper-red eye with blue eyeliner and glowing natural skin. I wanted my eyes to have enough copper-red eyeshadow to stand out, but not the bloodshot-tired-punched-in-the-eye makeup that often comes with a red eyeshadow. I realized if I placed blue eyeliner on the top lash line and kept the lower lash line a deep smokey brown, I could wear copper-red without looking overly edgy or tired. I really wanted my makeup to be fun, but wearable. This is what I came up with. I hope you all enjoy!

One of my favorite things to do with my makeup is take a really pretty neutral makeup look and add something that doesn't belong. Today I decided to wear a pretty neutral smokey brown eye with glitter green eyeliner. As a result, I received several compliments today and it made me believe even more that my "Neutrals + Something Unexpected" makeup philosophy is not only surprising, but welcomed by most. I guess I just don't see the point of owning so many pretty fun colors, if I don't get to use them, even if it happens to be on a day when I'm suppose to be "more professional". I figure in a few months I'll have to stick with "work-safe" makeup on a day-to-day basis, so now is the time to pull out the "crazy glitter eyeliner" while I can still attempt to make it a trend! I don't know if partners at my firm will ever adopt wearing glitter green eyeliner, but here's to hoping! I have a feeling convincing the male partners is going to be kind of tough...haha. Enjoy!

A friend of mine sent me this photo as reference for her makeup for my school's Barrister's ball. I did her makeup but forgot to take some good photos of her, so I decided to re-do the look with my face. I know I don't look anything like Kim Kardashian, but I wanted to give the full effect by posing in a similar way. I think Kim Kardashian's smokey eyes are iconic and so bold in these two photos. I decided to create a combination of the two looks. I decided instead of going to heavy on the eyeliner like in the first photo, I would bring the eyeshadow out a bit in a cat-eye effect like the second photo. These photos are the result. Enjoy!
Note: Kim Kardashian is wearing a gloss on her lips. Try a light pink opaque gloss.
NOTE: In this photo Kim Kardashian is wearing white eyeliner in the waterline. You can achieve this with Mac Feline Eye Kohl for this look.
