Face of the Day - Muted Colorful Eyes with Bright Lips

I wanted to do a look incorporating muted turquoise greens, grays and purples, however I didn't want the look to look clownish. I decided on this look because I thought the lips would bring some brightness while the eyes remained subtle and muted enough to be wearable. The trick to keeping your eyes simple is to use brown eyeliner instead of black eyeliner. It really helps to keep the eyes soft wand pretty. I hope you all enjoy!

Smokey Grays Tutorial

It's one thing to wear black on your eye, it's another to wear gray. There is something uniquely smokey and gorgeous about gray smokey eyes. I stumbled upon this look while playing with my new Avon Super Shock eyeliners and I have to admit, I really love it! Let me know what you guys think!

Halloween Makeup, Part 1

For Halloween I was a Planeteer from Captain Planet, the popular 90's cartoon series. If you never watched the show, it's awesome. Each of the planeteers has a special ring that has powers related to the earth, such as: Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Heart. When the teenage characters of the cartoon combine their powers together they can summon Captain Planet - a hero who saves the planet from evil polluters. :) I know, kind of cheesey.
