Sigma New Makeup Line - Sneak Peek!

A little birdy on Twitter aka - Simone Sigma the founder of Sigma has reported that Sigma will be launching a new makeup line in 6-8 weeks. The new line includes three different palettes: Flare, Dare, and Bare. Each palette also includes it's own dual ended brush!
  • Flare includes a bright range of colors for those who are not afraid of color. Flare comes with the Sigma E55 and E40.
  • Dare reminds me of a dessert themed palette with colors that range from tans, to golds, to deep copper reds. Dare comes with the Sigma E20 and E45.
  • Bare is a soft neutral palette that ranges in colors from traditional neutrals to deep sparkly black shades!  Bare comes with the Sigma E30 and E25!
The cost of each palette will be $35 which is a steal since each dual ended brush usually retails for $18 alone! I'm really excited about this announcement and I just had to share. Enjoy!

My Must Have 7 Brushes

I have a lot of makeup brushes, but the fact is I really don't need all the brushes I own. My lucky number is seven (like many people's) so I decided to pick my top seven brushes I could not and would not live without. If you are one of those people who have watched my videos lately and felt very overwhelmed by the number of brushes I use, then please check out this post. I really only use all the brushes I have because I have them. These are my top 7 must have brushes!

Face Brushes:
  1. Kabuki Brush (like the Mac 181)
  1. Foundation Brush (like the Mac 190)
  1. Small Round Brush (like the Mac 109)

    Eye Brushes:
    • Dense Flat Brush (like the Mac 239)
    • Large fluffy crease brush (like the Mac 224)
    • Smaller fluffy crease brush (like the Mac 217)
    • Angled Brush (like my Lowell Cornell 1/4 inch paint brush!)
    • Pencil Brush (like the Mac 219)

Glitter Eye, Cranberry Lip - the All-American's Girl's Glamourous Night Out

I am not going to lie, I wanted to use my glitter/shimmer eyeshadow from Sephora that I bought for $5.00. So, I filmed this video. ;) I wanted to do something that would make me feel pretty, but not over the top. Looking back on what I did, I think I would ditch the false eyelashes if I was wearing this look on a first date, but overall - I find the look very appropriate for a nice night out. It definitely made me feel pretty. I hope you'll try it and I hope it makes you feel the same way!

What You Will Learn in this Tutorial:
        • How to work with over the top glitter
        • How to make your skin look "glowing"

            Vampy/Vampire Inspired Look

This tutorial is inspired by the Vampy 1920's look and Vampires. I know, I know, not really totally related. I just couldn't get the association of "Vampy" and "Vampires" out of my head. This look is very intense. Not something you'd wear to school or work. I would imagine this is a look you'd wear to a costume party, out one night with your friends, or to some other "outing".

What you will learn in this video:
            • Alternative method for applying false lashes
            • How to pull off intense eyes and lips
